Is unemployment in a district rising more than the season alone would explain? The Federal Employment Agency publishes seasonally adjusted figures for Germany and the federal states — a running monthly series for all districts is not part of that. This analysis closes the gap: own calculation based on the official interface, updated monthly, for all 53 districts in North Rhine-Westphalia.

This website is served via “GitHub Pages”, provided by GitHub. When you access the site, GitHub may process technically necessary data, in particular:

3. No analytics, no tracking, no cookies
The operator of this website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services and sets no cookies of its own. There are no user accounts, newsletter sign-ups or contact forms.
Fonts are not loaded from third-party servers. The site is rendered exclusively with fonts already present on the visitor's device.
4. YouTube videos with click-to-play
The “Projects” section presents videos from the YouTube channel “Hintergrundmusik Langenfeld”. The thumbnails are stored locally on this server. Simply opening the page establishes no connection to YouTube or Google.
Only when you click a video card is the video loaded from “youtube-nocookie.com”, YouTube's extended privacy mode. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
With that click, your IP address, device and browser information and details of the page you are viewing may be transmitted to YouTube. If you are signed in to a Google account at the same time, the request may be linked to that account.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, which you give by clicking the video. As long as you do not click a video, no transmission takes place. Consent applies to the current page visit; when the page is reloaded, videos are again not loaded automatically.
